New Food Court and Expansion Planned for Vienna Airport
Vienna Airport is undergoing a major expansion with a new approximately 10,000 square meter (107,639 square feet) southern extension dedicated to dining and shopping.

The expansion, focused on gastronomy, aims to significantly enhance the culinary offerings at the airport. In addition to new flagship restaurants, the project will include additional shopping areas, a modern lounge, and a new security checkpoint.
New Restaurants Coming to Vienna Airport in 2027
The south extension of Terminal 3 will introduce a variety of renowned restaurants when it opens in 2027. Confirmed establishments include Figlmüller, DO & CO, Café landtmann, Mochi, Tür 7, and Veganista. Figlmüller will operate a full-service restaurant with a bar, while DO & CO will continue its presence at the airport with the DO & CO Bar and the Henry self-service restaurant.
Vienna’s famous coffee houses will also be represented,with Aida opening a 100 square meter store in a new design. café Landtmann will be present for the first time at the airport with “Landtmann Daily” and a takeaway station from the Öfferl bakery.
SSP and Lagardère Travel Retail will manage the new gastronomy concepts: SSP will oversee Figlmüller,Landtmann,mochi,Tür 7,and a new Starbucks location. Lagardère Travel Retail will operate NENI, Barbaro, aida, and a new Burger King restaurant.
The expanded Terminal 3 is scheduled to be operational in 2027.
