Parc de l’Auxois Announces Febuary Events for Valentine’s Day and Carnival
The Parc de l’Auxois is preparing to welcome visitors with a series of engaging events throughout February, including special activities for Valentine’s Day and Carnival. These events aim to provide a fun and educational experience for all ages, highlighting the natural world and fostering a sense of community.
Valentine’s Day Celebrations
Throughout February, the park will feature a unique “Love trail.” Visitors can follow heart-shaped signs that illuminate the fascinating courtship rituals of various animals. This interactive experience offers a glimpse into the diverse ways animals express affection and attract mates.
On February 14th, the park’s cafeteria will offer specially curated meals for Valentine’s Day. A guided tour of the Love Trail will also be available with a park animal caretaker, providing deeper insights into animal behavior. Reservations for the Valentine’s Day meal are required.
Upcoming events
The fun doesn’t stop with Valentine’s Day. The first weekend after the park reopens will host a storytelling session and a “Wall of Lovers,” where visitors can share their own expressions of affection.
As Carnival approaches, the Parc de l’Auxois will offer mask-making and face-painting workshops. These workshops are open to all and do not require pre-registration, encouraging spontaneous creativity and participation.
