NEZZA‘s Anthem Honors Heritage and Supports Crucial Causes
Rising artist NEZZA has released a powerful rendition of the Spanish National Anthem, “El Pendón Estrellado,” and is coupling the release with meaningful philanthropic efforts. This isn’t just a musical offering; its a commitment to giving back to communities in need.
A Song with a Purpose
Nezza’s interpretation of the anthem is deeply personal, reflecting her connection to her heritage. She aims to use her platform to amplify voices and create positive change. The project is designed to directly support organizations providing vital services.
Supporting Youth and Immigration Rights
Fifty percent of the proceeds from “El Pendón Estrellado” will benefit A Place Called Home (APCH). This organization provides thorough support to young people in South Los Angeles. Notably, APCH’s music program was initially funded by Tupac shakur in 1996, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to empowering youth through the arts.
the remaining 50% of the proceeds will be donated to various immigration defence nonprofits. These organizations provide crucial legal assistance and advocacy for immigrants. Esperanza Immigration Rights Project is among the beneficiaries, offering essential support to vulnerable communities.
Concert to Amplify Impact
Nezza is further extending her support through a charity concert, “NEZZA & Friends,” at The Roxy in West Hollywood on August 29th. All proceeds from this event will be directed towards immigration defense nonprofits.
“This isn’t just about music,” NEZZA explains. “It’s about using my platform to make a real impact, honoring where I come from, and creating space for others to feel heard and valued.”
