Team Nordschleswig Dominates Kvickly Cup with Notable table Tennis Performance

Christian Flader, the team’s coach, emphasized the significance of the achievement, stating, “This is an incredible achievement. Individual Achievements
Tim Skliarevski was the standout performer, winning three gold medals – in all three individual events he entered. He also secured a silver medal in doubles alongside Johan Kleinschmidt Salling. Daniel Aboce achieved a commendable 5th-place finish.
the women of Team Nordschleswig also contributed significantly to the medal count. Eva Busch claimed gold in the women’s singles, and paired with Katrine Hammerich to win silver in the women’s doubles. Louise Hammerich, alongside a partner from Lübeck, added a sixth gold medal to the team’s tally.
Exceptional Talent and Coaching
Melina Krenz, a youth sports leader from the German Youth Association for North Schleswig and assistant coach, was impressed by the team’s performance. She noted the players’ rapid progress, with many having only taken up the sport within the last year and a half, and some as young as eleven years old. Krenz highlighted the players’ ability to quickly apply training concepts in competitive settings, calling it “very strong achievements.”

Krenz specifically praised Tim Skliarevski’s exceptional talent, describing his game intelligence as “incredible.” She observed his ability to quickly identify and exploit opponents’ weaknesses and adapt learned techniques during matches, even at his young age and with limited experience. south Schleswig Association also highlighted Skliarevski’s potential.
