The movie star has suffered from breast cancer.

In a post, Olivia Munn opens up about the illness announcement.

“I needed to catch my breath and get through some of the hardest parts before I shared,” she writes on Instagram.

Barely a year ago, the American actor did Olivia Munn43, an exam that tested her for 90 different types of cancer — but it came back negative.

Two months later, she had a mammogram and was told she had breast cancer.

“In the last ten months I have undergone four operations, I can’t even count how many days I have spent in bed,” she writes in a post on Instagram.

The reason she kept the illness announcement private for so long was because she needs to focus on getting through “the hardest parts” first.

“Only cried twice”

The movie star writes that she is “lucky” because the doctors discovered the cancer “in good time” and says that she had surgery to remove both breasts.

“Surprisingly, I’ve only cried twice.”

In the post, Olivia Munn thanks her doctors and her family, especially her partner John Mulaney as she has her two-year-old son Malcolm together with.

Olivia Munn has been in films such as “Magic Mike”, The Predator” and “X-Men: Apocalypse”.
