I see more potential in it if screens are also added. Such as the Vuzix Blade 2, for example. It is not much larger than this and not much thicker due to the waveguide technology, in contrast to the thick bird bath optics of the Xreal Air.
Edit: The Air Glass 2 did have screens (projection) and that makes it completely different from Meta’s Ray Ban where you only have speakers on your head and a touch point for operation. So there’s a good chance that this Air Glass 3 will get that again. That makes it a lot more interesting than Meta’s glasses.
The article does not say anything about screens and the comparison with the Meta glasses made me think that these were also glasses without screens, but that does not seem to be the case. I’m curious. Unfortunately, the first Air Glass models were never released in Europe.
