A notable undertaking is now facing initial setbacks as Orange has adjusted the timeline for discontinuing its ADSL network, with a complete shutdown planned by 2030 across France. According too a 13,542-page document released on December 19th, approximately 8,000 municipalities, encompassing nearly 23 million homes and businesses – representing close to half of the country’s locations – are affected by this postponement. Customers in these cities and towns will now be able to subscribe to a new ADSL service until January 31, 2027, a year later than originally anticipated.
