The president’s message was not viewed favorably by the Romanians. Online users launched a wave of criticism towards Klaus Iohannis, many mocking him, but also beating his face for the words transmitted in a hypocritical manner, they would say, during the Orthodox Easter holidays.
Thus, some Romanians commented on the irony of Klaus Iohannis’ message, while others emphasized that, of course, they will make all possible efforts to work towards sending significant sums of money to the Ukrainians.
