The girl is a colleague of Sebastian Olariu at the Faculty of Geography at the University of Bucharest and was with her group of friends in the 2 Mai resort. She stated that they had come to the sea and that they had all been college mates for a year, except for Roberta Dragomir, her best friend.
She stated that they walked on the paved sidewalk and that they continued to walk one after the other on the narrow section. He spoke to Sebi one last time before he hit the road.
“I walked on the paved sidewalk, then I knew the narrower section was coming. We went one after the other, I was the last one, I followed the others. Before me was Sebi. I spoke with him for the last time, before we hit the road”, she said.
The student says that the moment of the accident was a shocking one, everything happened in a second, it was a shock that you wake up from only after it happened. It was night, quiet and only the cars could be heard.
After recovering from the impact, she realized that she was hit by the mirror of the Mercedes driven by Vlad Pascu. Her friend came running to see if she was okay, after which he saw Sebi, dead.

According to the investigators, Sebi suffered a gruesome death. Vlad Pascu’s car practically cut him in two, a difficult image to look at, especially for a parent.
The father of the murdered young man says that he will not have peace until Vlad Pascu is behind bars many years from now. In Sebi’s memory, Valentin Olariu tattooed his son’s face and a roll of film, his mother’s blue eyes and the message “I will always wonder who you would become” on his arm.
Sebi was passionate about film and his goal was to become a director one day.
Vlad Pascu’s trial was postponed
The judge in Vlad Pascu’s case postponed the trial and filed a request for abstention. He requested his fellow magistrates to withdraw her from this file, which was confirmed by the lawyer Adrian Cuculis.
“Our requests for postponement, mine and my colleague’s, were formulated based on what the Judicial Inspection ordered, namely the notification of the CSM regarding the suspension of the lady judge, which is why today’s deadline was postponed, a new one was granted term.
It is important to know that, if the request for abstention is accepted, the whole process will be started from scratch, if the judge is suspended on the 24th, the process will be restarted from scratch.
If none of the two options will be applied, at the next term the 10 or 11 civil parties will be heard and we will make conclusions on the merits. We had two more applications prepared including today, one for suspension of the process, another for postponement. The postponement request was accepted for the first time, the other two requests were no longer useful.
One thing is certain, there were about 120 questions to ask the civil parties. Probably at the last court term, whatever it will be, the trial will start at 10 am and end at 10 pm”, specified Adrian Cuculis.
