BRATISLAVA. Peter Pellegrini would only narrowly win against Ivan Korčok in the first round of the presidential elections. This was shown by a survey by the Focus agency for Markíza television.

The head of the Voice and Parliament would receive 35.2 percent of the vote, the former minister of foreign affairs would be voted for by exactly 34 percent of voters.

Štefan Harabin would finish third with eleven percent, followed by Igor Matovič with five percent.

The poll also caught Ján Kubiš, who would have received 4.3 percent of the vote. He was followed by SNS chairman Andrej Danko (3.2), Krisztián Forró (3.1), Marian Kotleba (2.4), Patrik Dubovský (1.3) and Milan Náhlik with half a percent.

The Focus agency collected data between February 14 and 21 on a sample of 1,025 respondents.
