First Cybertruck with crowds in Modena
Great success atthe Motor Valley Festival in Modena for the first Italian appearance of Tesla Cybertruck. In an event created to pay homage to the great names of the Emilian motoring tradition (combustion engines, of course), the futuristic pick-up stole the show from everyone.
Exhibited in the two main squares of the event, it saw a continuation siege of visitors and tourists. With conflicting opinions: the more traditionalists have branded it as “an American“, while a part of the audience (the younger one) considered it fascinating. The exhibition lasts until Sunday 5 maggiothen off to a tour throughout Europe with over 100 stages until July 7th. The Chinese CATL presents the battery with a thousand km of autonomy
A thousand km with an electric car? Second CATLthe Chinese battery giant, is no longer a mirage, but a reality thanks to the new Shenxing Pluss battery lithium iron phosphate with high energy density. The thousand km are calculated according to the rather generous Chinese approval criteria. But it is still a demonstration, yet another, of how rapidly the technology available to the Chinese giants is improving.
The battery is equipped with a cathode made with a technology granular gradation, which positions each nanometric particle in an optimal position to obtain high energy density. A 3D honeycomb material is added to the anode, further increasing the density. And more effectively controlling volume expansion during the charge and discharge cycles. The casing is made from a single piece. Energy density comes to a head 205 Wh/kg. Charging also occurs much faster than current standards. The name is curious: Shenxing Plusor Sexier.

Incredible Norway: in a country with little more than 5 million inhabitants they continue to be sold 10 thousand electric cars per month. In Italy we are close to 60 million citizens and EVs are on sale just over 3 thousand. In April, to be precise, there were registrations in the Scandinavian country 10.051 (+34,5% on the same month of 2023). In total, the machines sold during the month were 11.241 and this gives an idea of the market share of electric cars. Another striking fact: the Tesla Model Y, the undisputed leader in the first quarter, was displaced from first place in sales. With only 701 registrations, it slipped to fourth place. In first position now there is the Volvo EX30 con 1.191 cars sold, followed by Volkswagen ID.4 con 986 and from Volkswagen ID.3 con 749.
Circular car economy: The Remakers is born in the Renault world
To be more sustainable, cars must not only have ‘cleaner’ engines, but also enjoy longer life cycles. A topic that Renault has been working on for some time, now through the company The Future Is NEUTRAL, expands its business portfolio. It does this by integrating the business of remanufacturing of automotive components Flins Factory.
This activity, at the center of the automotive industry’s circular economy value chain, has strong growth potential. And it will allow Renault to become an indispensable European player for the regeneration of components, serving the entire supply chain. For the occasion, it takes on a new name: The Remakers.
“Our goal is to increase activity by 50% by 2030“, explains Rafael Tréguer, CEO di The Remakers. “To this end, we have many resources: the recognized experience and quality of our business, engineering expertise associated with that of Groupe Renault and the strategic plan. We can also count on synergies with the Flins Refactory, the first site in Europe dedicated to the circular mobility economy” .
