“We administer flu vaccines to people with risk factors, health personnel and adults over 65 years of age. Also the Covid-19 vaccine to all people who needed it and other vaccines for adults, such as Hepatitis B and Tetanus. We also cared for pregnant women,” Roquer explained about the task they carried out from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In the case of people who received the Hepatitis B vaccine, they will have to return in one month and then after six months, to receive the second and third doses.

The health professional said that both the Immunization team and the ministry staff carry out the National Calendar and the different campaigns. Due to the time of year and since the flu vaccine began to be introduced, it is disseminated and promoted throughout the province, mainly in groups with risk factors, which is the target population, she said.
