How the fish rain that affects Iran originates

This strange phenomenon, which was recorded in the south of Iran, occurred due to a waterspout in the Persian Gulf that stole fish from the sea.

Sustained by strong gusts of upward wind, the fish remained in the skies for several minutes before being dropped over the city of Yasuj.

Although there is no single and definitive explanation for this phenomenon, there are several theories that attempt to explain its origin, mainly linked to natural phenomena such as waterspouts, rising air currents, seismic activity, or environmental factors.
