After officially releasing the realme 12+ 5G and realme 12 Pro+ 5G, now realme has released its newest smartphone in Indonesia, namely the realme 12 5G. This smartphone also still relies on camera features and elegant design as its main advantages, but at a lower price.

Realme 12 5G Specifications and Features

This smartphone has a 6.72 inch FHD+ display with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.4%. and Dynamic Refresh Rate up to 120Hz. Peak brightness reaches up to 950nits, remains clear under sunlight.

The SoC uses MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G with Arm Mali-G57 GPU, and is equipped with RAM up to 8+8 GB, and storage up to 256GB. This smartphone is also equipped with a 5000mAh capacity battery, as well as 45W SUPERVOOC Charge, charging up to 50% only takes 30 minutes.

This smartphone relies on a 108MP main camera as its main attraction. Even though it is not supported by a periscope telephoto camera sensor like the realme 12 Pro+ 5G, this camera also has support for 3x In-Sensor Zoom. There are features such as Cinematic Portrait Mode with 3x Zoom for clear and detailed results. 8MP selfie camera with a wide angle, allowing group selfies easily.

Realme also collaborated with Claudio Miranda, Oscar winner for best cinematography, who presented three exclusive filters for the realme 12 Series 5G. These include Journey Filter – “Life of Pi” Inspiration, Memory Filter – “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” Style, and Maverick Filter – “Top Gun: Maverick” Influence.

The design is still similar to the realme 12+ and 12 Pro+, namely with a camera frame inspired by trendy watch designs with a Polished Sunburst Dial. Available in Twilight Purple and Woodland Green.

Realme 12 5G also presents the Dynamic Button feature on this smartphone. This feature allows easy access to various features like Sound Mode, Camera, Timer, etc.

Other features such as Dual Stereo Speakers, NFC, Riding Mode, Mini Capsule 2.0, IP54 Dust & Water Resistance. This smartphone runs on realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.

Price and Availability

Realme 12 5G is sold at a special price of IDR 3,499,000 during the Flash Sale period on March 25 2024, from the normal price of IDR 3,699,000.

This smartphone also comes with the Realme 12+ 5G 12/512GB variant, which is available at a special price of IDR 4,599,000 during the same period. Both models will be available online at realme.com and popular and offline e-commerce platforms at realme Brand Store and partner stores starting March 27, 2024.
