The expectation of a significant drop in European Central Bank (ECB) key rates has been curbed, and, to reflect this, Euribor rates, strongly influenced by central bank rates, have registered small monthly variations, with a 12-month term. to be in April above the value of December 2023. Even so, the contract reviews to be carried out in May will bring small reductions in installments, including in contracts associated with the 12-month rate, and this is because, despite the recent increase – to close to 3.703% in April, against 3.679% in December – its value is slightly below that seen in May 2023 (3.757%), when the last contract review took place.
