the city of Ancona will revisit a essential part of its recent history through the words of one of its most notable figures. On Thursday,January 22nd,at 5:00 PM,the Teatrino San Cosma on Corso Mazzini will host the first presentation of Renato Galeazzi’s book,Da medico a sindaco (From Doctor to Mayor).
The event is organized by the publishing house Affinità Elettive in collaboration with the Ancona section of Italia Nostra “Vincenzo Pirani.” The meeting will be introduced by maurizio Sebastiani and will feature the author’s direct participation.

The book offers a frank and direct reflection on a life journey that successfully combined patient care with administrative commitment. Renato Galeazzi dedicated over thirty years to the medical profession as a hospital doctor and head of the gastroenterology department.
concurrently, he played a prominent role in the political and administrative life of Ancona, progressing from hospital wards to the position of city councilor, then serving as Mayor for two terms during the political era of the Olive Tree coalition, and finally being elected to the Chamber of Deputies for two legislatures.
