Run Mada offers a hybrid artistic performance

Yesterday, the artists of “Run Mada” held a press meeting at Kudeta Anosy.

As part of the celebration of International Women’s Rights Day, the Alliance Française d’Antananarivo (AFT) presents a revolutionary cultural event which is the “Run Mada”. Scheduled for March 9 at AFT Andavamamba, this show promises a captivating hybrid artistic experience, combining electronic music, percussion, poetry, slam and comedy. At the heart of this event, the public will discover a unique mix of talents, with the participation of exceptional artists such as the Reunion musician, Eat My Butterfly, the Reunion actress, Aurélie Lauret, the Malagasy poet and slammer Na Hassi, as well as as the Malagasy percussionist Faragasy.

“This first edition highlights female creativity through a unique intercultural collaboration between Madagascar and Reunion Island. Run Mada is an exceptional meeting between these four Malagasy and Reunionese artists, uniting their talents to offer a hybrid artistic performance,” underlines Hadrianna Rajeniera, communications manager at AFT Antananarivo.

Before the show, the artists experienced an artistic residency, sharing their thoughts on women’s rights and exchanging knowledge. “We will go on stage together to offer a unique show, while each presenting our personality. This residency allowed us to explore the nuances of our artistic identities and strengthen our bonds,” explains Mila Faratiana Rakotoniaina
