“I said last week that if Manchester United came calling in any capacity, I would be very happy to accept,” Rooney explained, as reported by the Sun. “It’s a club I personally love, and I spent 13 years there. It’s one of two clubs I would happily go back to coach – Manchester United and Everton.”
