We don’t see enough images like this. On the one hand, the ferocity of soldiers, and on the other, the widespread use of drones that attack enemies unexpectedly, mean that there is often no opportunity to lay down weapons and surrender. However, as you can see in the video above, such events still occur.

The film shows one of the trenches near the battle front. The sounds of the ongoing battle can still be heard in the background. Amidst all this confusion, two Russian soldiers, apparently scared, decided to lay down their weapons and surrender themselves to war captivity. From their relatively clean equipment, it can be concluded that they had recently arrived at the front and had no opportunity to test their strength in combat. For them, the war is over and there is a high probability that they will eventually be reunited with their families.
