LIPTOVSKÝ MIKULÁŠ – The musician Rudolf Hoffmann went to his final rest forever. A popular musician from a brass band in Liptov left on his name day. He was remembered by many.
The tragic news hit music lovers, musician Rudolf Hoffmann went to his last rest on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. “He was part of the events in our city. The musician, Rudolf Hoffmann, left us today. We will not forget you” TV Liptov from Liptovský Mikuláš reported yesterday.
Rudolf Hoffmann loved music with his body and soul. He was part of the brass band Hrádocká kapela, which left touching last words for him. “Dear friend, Rudko, you chose your birthday to go to musical heaven. Thank you for the friendship and the times spent together listening to music and talking about it. It was mutually beneficial. RIP,” wrote on the page of the band Ľubo.
The band performed in and around Liptov. They played, for example, at carnivals in Jamník, at the laying of wreaths on the occasion of the liberation of Liptovský Hrádek, or at the New Year’s concert in Liptovský Ján. Many residents will not forget him. “On Christmas Eve around 11:30 p.m., he went out on the balcony and played a small concert for his neighbors in Podbreziny. People went out to the balconies and listened,” Milan recalled.
Rudolf also owned a music store in Liptovský Mikuláš, where many musicians from the area visited. But he also loved motorcycles. “Rudko, I remember you as a classmate, a friend, a motorcyclist from earlier times and a person of all PPPs. You will stay in my heart” wrote Ján sadly.
