“Fay’s Palette” was a groundbreaking production, screening at the inaugural Red Sea Film Festival. It told the story of a young woman confined to her home by a controlling brother, representing one of the first films to emerge from Saudi Arabia following the end of the cinema ban.
Taibah and Ba-Tahaf have a strong collaborative history.She previously starred in “Fay’s Palette” and co-wrote the TV series “Jameel Jeddan” alongside the director, where she played a character awakening from a five-year coma.
