• Vancouver “Canucks” in the first round, To Teodor Blüger participating in all matches and with Artūrs Shilovs keeping the goal in the final three matches, defeated Nashville “Predator” 4-2.
• The Edmonton “Oilers” passed the first round by defeating the Los Angeles “Kings” 4-1. The only loss came in overtime. Connor McDavid collected 12 points, Leon Draisaitl – ten, guard Evan Bouchard – nine.
• Edmonton had both the best majority (45%) and best minority (100%) in the first round. The majority of “Canucks” skidded, but the minority led by Blüger was level (90.9%).
• Blüger skated in the usual line-up with Sam Lafferty and Filippa Di Giuseppe in yesterday’s practice. Vancouver’s goalkeeper has not yet been announced, but it is expected that Shilov will guard the goal, who finished the series against the “Predators” with a dry game.
