Sporting announced a sold-out capacity for the match with Portimonense, scheduled for 6pm on Saturday.
«The special places available this Thursday are sold out. The club is grateful for the support of all members who will certainly provide a giant Onda Verde», reads a note left on the website.
On Monday afternoon, at 5pm, “tickets were initially available” sold out, leaving hundreds of members and supporters frustrated. O enthusiasm It’s such an order these days that even the website has had problems in managing such an influx.
As such, the Alvalade emblem committed to making tickets available in the «eventuality of there being Special Seats whose members have not exercised their right to purchase» up to 72 hours before the start of the said game.
The box office reopened at 10am this Thursday and tickets sold out again, this time around 6pm.
The best house in Alvalade was obtained on April 6th, when Benfica hosted the League. At leader’s strength there were 48,113 fans.
It is important to remember that the Sporting will not be champion in case of victory over the Algarve. However, the lions may celebrate if the Benfica doesn’t win in Famalicão.
This will be the penultimate meeting of the Amorim team in Alvalade, with the reception to Desp afterwards. Chaves on the last journey. In between, Sporting visits Estoril.
