SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURES – Makis Andohatapenaka stadium receives approval

Good news. The Makis stadium in Andohatapenaka, which will host the Africa Women’s Cup from May 4 to 12, obtained its approval on April 30. John Bosco Muamba, Head of Competitions at Rugby Africa and Competition Director during the Africa Women’s Cup in Madagascar, reviewed every corner of the facilities at Andohatapenaka.

“I came here to see up close how the venue was prepared before the matches started. In a word, the pitch met the required standards and there were no problems either on the pitch itself or on the training pitch. It is approved to host the continental joust and may the best win,” confides John Bosco Muamba.

As for Antsoniandro Andrianorosoa, national technical director of Malagasy Rugby, he specifies: “Malagasy Rugby has spared no effort to have a pitch that meets the required standards. The approval is a logical continuation of all the work undertaken in recent times.”
