The Star Academy continued its journey towards the finale on January 11, 2026, with a challenging evening that saw Bastiaan eliminated just before the semi-finals. Léa, Ambre, Sarah, and Victor will now compete for a place in the final.
Performances and Eliminations
The episode began with individual performances.Ambre delivered a gentle rendition of Julien Clerc’s “Fais-moi une place,” following a short message from her mother. Bastiaan, also preceded by a message from his mother, performed Gims’ “Changer.” Sarah, inspired by a message from her friend, sang Nicoletta’s “Il est mort le soleil.”
A special guest, Pascal Obispo, then joined the contestants for a series of duets. Sarah opened with “Tu trouveras,” originally a duet with Natasha St-pier. Ambre followed with “Mourir demain,” and Bastiaan concluded the duet segment with “Fan.”
Ultimately, the public saved Ambre, leaving Sarah and Bastiaan in the bottom two. A final face-off performance of Jenifer’s “Donne-moi le temps,” the winning song from the first season of Star Academy, led to bastiaan’s elimination.
Semi-Final Duets Announced
Sarah, having achieved the highest score in the week’s evaluations, earned the privilege of choosing her duet partner for the semi-finals. She selected Léa, setting the stage for a showdown between the two singers. Ambre will compete against Victor in the subsequent round, vying for the second spot in the grand finale.
