A critically important milestone is within reach for teh “Stop Killing Games” European Citizens Initiative (ECI). This initiative aims to safeguard video game preservation rights across the European Union. Initial concerns about the validity of signatures are being allayed as the verification process progresses successfully.

The ECI requires one million valid signatures from EU citizens to prompt a response from the European Commission. However, signatures from individuals not residing within the EU, or those who don’t adhere to the initiative’s rules, are ineligible.
