SWIMMING – 12TH LONG LIVE THE FUTURE

A better performance in 50m backstroke was updated during “Vive l’Avenir”, signed Tenndriniavo this weekend in Ampefiloha.

No broken record, but an updated better performance. A single best performance was improved during the 12th edition of “Vive l’Avenir” organized by the Saint Michel club this weekend at the National Sports Academy in Ampefiloha. Sainte Jeanne d’Arc Boeny swimmer Tenndriniavo Rakotobe updated his own best performance in the 50m backstroke, performed at the Island Games, from 29:07 to 28:48. The latter was also elected best swimmer in the 14 to 17 year old category. Miranda, from the same Majungese club, was elected best swimmer in the same category for girls. Two swimmers from the organizing club were also elected best swimmers, namely Francky Ramiakatrarivo in the over-18s and Steffi in the under-13 girls. Manou Andrianirina, from the Car club, is crowned among the boys. And the trophy for the best swimmer over 18 was awarded to Onimbolasoa from Cosra. The organizing club won five relay victories, namely the men’s and women’s open, the over-16 category, that between 14 and 15 years old, and that between 10 and 13 years old. The toddler category, under 9 years old, went to SJA Boeny.
