BRATISLAVA – Serious accusations against an opposition MP. Although Romana Tabák is no longer hitting the parliamentary benches, she likes to express herself about the happenings in politics, especially in the form of social networks. It was there that in one of the latest posts she made serious accusations against one of the most prominent faces of the Matovič movement, MP Jozef Proček. The opposition deputy rejects the harsh accusations.

It follows from the statement of Romana Tabák that Prochko had sexually harassed her in the past. Tabák gave her fans the opportunity to ask her questions, and one of them asked her if it was true that Jozef Prochko harassed her. He referred to a video circulating on the Tik Tok social network. It captures an incident directly in the parliamentary chamber between Proček and another member of parliament. He confronts Pročka with the fact that he was dealt with by the coalition council at the Government Office of the Slovak Republic and reminds him of his alleged statements about “juicy thighs”, which he should have addressed to Romany Tabák. Prochko reacts angrily and leaves.

Tabák herself did not avoid answering her fan’s direct question. On the contrary. She described the situation that allegedly occurred between her and Jozef Proček as very unpleasant. “On Bôrik in 2021, in the parking lot, when I was going home, he asked how I like it, that I definitely like sex, that I have juicy thighs. He was approaching me, he was as if deprived of his senses, smelly. I was sick,” Tabák wrote.

According to the former deputy, it was also “solved” at the Government Office of the Slovak Republic. “They told me he’s known for it, that he has a problem with it and I’m not the only one,” said Tabák. However, she did not want to name anyone, according to her own words, for fear that the persons in question would deny it. “But in the parliament, I talked about it among my colleagues, and many people know about it,” she added. In the post, she also wrote that Prochko apologized to her, despite this, she thinks that he has no business in politics.

Prochko himself reacted to the sensitive case. “It’s not true, but I confess to one thing. During one meeting we had one of the many conflicts when I reacted to her absurd statements and disagreed with her. She told me that I was a primitive who was broke and did not know how to act, so now I’m doing theater in the parliament. I admit, my reaction was also sharp and I told her that with her figure and thighs, she should have done sumo too. But I immediately apologized to her. Which Tabak also admitted.” stated. However, he denied ever making suggestions or harassing her. “I would never have thought of that” he claims. “From the first moment in the parliament, Romana Tabák was not my cup of coffee in the OĽaNO club. I was one of the biggest opponents of her views in OĽaNO,” he added.

His colleagues also stood up for Proček. “I have sat on every coalition council and we have never dealt with any harassment of anyone from the coalition or the opposition. What Romana Tabák claims is not true,” said deputy Michal Šípoš. “I worked as the head of the Government Office, I was at every meeting, I knew about every event. We did not deal with any harassment from Jozef Proček, and I am not aware of any similar cases as claimed by Romana Tabak. If we were to deal with something like that, then the journalists immediately inform,” claims Július Jakab.
