Fans of electric cars applaud it, others find it silly

A TESLA driver has sparked outrage on social media after a hidden message was spotted on an electric car’s license plate. Model S was spotted in Adelaide (South Australia) stopped at a traffic light. The driver behind took a photo and posted it on Facebook.

The license plate reads RIP ICE. The author of the photo commented that it was “quite suitable for an EV”. However, Daily Mail Australia analyzes that the rest of the opinion is divided on whether the number is original or a dumb decision.

Another Tesla driver in Australia also found a way to pick on the good old internal combustion engines

One of them read: “Sales of CNG vehicles are falling, this will destroy them.” Another added: “Wow! This is the best registration number. I like him”.

But some didn’t like the number plate so much and thought it was “lame”. “Yeah, I’d rather not play with the bear. There are too many idiots who hate EVs,” wrote one naysayer. Another posted: “I hate these stupid plates .I drive an EV, but I don’t need to walk around making smug hints.”
