Tess Medina has week after week impressed both the jury and the viewers. From the first cod, the win with sour pavlova, to the final dish that made her Sweden’s master chef 2024. With the winner’s book At the table med Tess she now wants to share her favorite recipes from the cities she has lived in and loves – Los Angeles, Paris and Stockholm.

Master chef Tess Medina loves to be creative and improvise in the kitchen. In the book At the table med Tess she shares recipes from the cities she loves, where she lived and found the culinary joy she has today. The recipes range from childhood tuna melt in LA where Tess grew up, fried flounder in her hometown Stockholm, to lots of cheese, onion soup and ratatouille in Paris where she spent several years as a 20-year-old.
– Finally, I can shout out that I won, release the book and let others share all my favorite recipes. I want the book to inspire me to cook good food from my favorite cities and to cook as much as possible from scratch. I wanted to create a book where you open a page and immediately feel “I really want to cook this”, says Tess.
Tess’s generous cooking is characterized by a rustic elegance with few and simple ingredients. She is an expert in cooking soup on a stick and now wants to continue to inspire with her recipes. Next, Tess will start a new stage on her cooking journey and share it on the Instagram account @foodiebytess.
The book At the table med Tess will be published on Bonnier Fakta on April 18, 2024.

Tess Medina is the winner of Sweden’s Master Chef 2024. Tess is 29 years old and lives on Södermalm in Stockholm. Her inspiration comes from her hometown Stockholm, but also from Los Angeles where she grew up, and Paris where she lived for a few years as an adult. Tess is current with the book At the table med Tess and the Instagram account @foodiebytess.
