We will soon be able to play Don’t Starve physically offline, because the board game version is coming soon, and an experienced team is behind the project.

It was announced on March 27 by Glass Cannon Unplugged, that they are already working on the board game Don’t Starve. We can thank the Polish development team for Frostpunk, as well as the Dying Light board game adaptation as well. However, you can also find Jakub Wisniewski in the development team, who participated in the development of the tabletop version of This War of Mine.

So far, the developers have not revealed many details, as promised by the project Kickstarter page, you will be able to find out about the latest information. The game can be played by 1-4 people, the game time will be between one and a half hours and it will be available immediately in English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Czech and Italian.

The creators want to completely upgrade the visuals of the game, as well as the characters, since they also have special abilities in the original work. Also, I would like to display the elements that are particularly important in the game: the change of day and night, the collection of different resources and the fight against monsters.

Don’t Starve was released in 2013, and a year later Don’t Starve Together, the multiplayer version of the game, arrived. The craft-based survival game with special visuals and wry humor has been very popular ever since, the SteamDB according to its data, it has approximately 50,000 active players on PC.
