Bathroom items, have you figured it out yet?
Every bathroom renovation starts with identifying the specific items you want to find in it. What does your bathroom really need to accommodate? A bath, walk-in shower or shower cabin, a sink with floating cabinet, for example, and do you also need room for the washing machine and dryer? By having a clear overview of the precise wishes, you can start with the coherence, layout and use of materials. Because the bathroom is only renovated every 10 to 15 years, you naturally want to do it right from the start and include the most beautiful bathroom trends in your plan if possible.
Ceiling and lighting
The most practical, luxurious choice for bathroom lighting is of course bathroom spotlights. Because these can be neatly recessed into the ceiling, the bathroom gets a solid and luxurious appearance. Bathroom spotlights are suitable for damp areas and can be dimmed, so you can choose the desired light intensity yourself. Thanks to the spotlights, you can accentuate special places in the bathroom in a great way and create extra lighting where necessary. In the vast majority of cases, this is chosen for the contemporary bathroom LED recessed spotlights incidentatlly; it is a true bathroom trend.
Color and atmosphere
We are also going for earthy tones this season; from cream to white, anthracite, gray to moss green. Combining materials is important. Choose an accent wall that is decorated or tiled differently than the other walls. For example, you can safely opt for plastered white walls (with waterproof wall paint), or for concrete (look) and one wall is tiled with natural stone, such as marble (or the marble effect), or of course another type of stone of your choice. Combining materials can also extend to the bathroom floor, for example combine different types of tiles.
Walk-in showers and baths
The must-have of the moment is the walk-in shower. It is usually positioned in the corner and is separated with glass walls, recessed in black metal, which provides an industrial look. But it can also be done differently. A single stone partition wall can create a beautiful walk-in shower. Something to think about. Both are the large bathroom trend of the moment. The walk-in shower is almost always combined with a bath, provided space permits. The free-standing, or partially free-standing, egg-shaped bath is absolutely preferred!
Bathroom accessories
Don’t forget to place plants in the bathroom; Plants – whether one or more – are also a real trend in the bathroom. Choose a variety that is suitable for a (semi) shaded area.
Finally, bathroom furniture, which also consists of combined natural materials, such as untreated wood and natural stone, fits perfectly within the current bathroom trend!
