The moderates want the EU to open the wallet to invest in new nuclear reactors in Europe.

Earlier in this term voted EU-parliament for nuclear power to be included in the EU’s new taxonomy infoclosetaxonomy The EU’s taxonomy for green investments was adopted in June 2020 and is a regulation that classifies which economic activities are to be considered environmentally sustainable. The purpose is for the new system to help EU countries reach the Union’s climate goals. Now M wants to take another step to facilitate more nuclear power within the EU.
After the EU elections in June, a new EU Commission will be formed.
M will demand that his candidate, current President Ursula von der Leyen, produce a proposal that will enable the EU to invest in reactors.

Money can go to Swedish reactors
