The PSD Timiș county organization, led by Alfred Simonis, announced the loss of an important member, who was also secretary of the county organization. The businessman Eugen Milutinovici passed away.

Milutinovici died in a hospital in Turkey, where he was receiving treatment, Știripesurse informs.

“With regret and sadness I learned of the passing away (sic) of the one who was a good social-democratic colleague, Eugen Milutinovici, former county councilor of PSD and general secretary of PSD Timiș.

God rest him in peace!

Eugen “Gelu” Milutinovici was a well-known and influential local businessman, who had, among other things, businesses in the field of stone quarries. He was secretary of PSD Timiș, several years ago, when he was considered a real local baron. He was married to Emilia Milutinovici and she is a well-known member of PSD Timiș, former director of the Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Timiș. About two years ago, in the name of Ciprian, one of Milutinovici’s sons, he had bought Tele Europa Nova, a well-known local TV station in Timișoara.
