Constanța Port will become the largest gateway to the European Union, after investments of over one billion euros made by the United Arab Emirates.

The investment of 82 million euros already made by the Emirates was signed in 2022 and will be inaugurated next month, on the 15th.

The most important container terminal in the Black Sea will also have the first drive-through scanner at our borders.

Trucks will no longer have to stop but will be scanned on the go.

“We want to expand the cooperation with the Emirati partners for the Port of Constanţa! This is the message we had today during the meeting, in Abu Dhabi, with the management of DP World (Dubai Ports)”, says the Minister of Transport on Facebook.

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, the Minister of Transport, Economy, Digitalization and the director of the Port of Constanţa met today with the representatives of the port operator DP World and made new plans.
