For those who are always looking at leaflets and looking for the best bargains, there is good news. A new chain of stores will arrive in Portugal that promises to bring economical products, Action.
This supermarket of Dutch origin will open its first store in Portugal on February 29th at Focus Park, in Vila Nova de Gaia, with the promise of opening other stores in the country. It is not yet known exactly where the next stores will be, but on the website you can already see job offers for Barcelos, Guarda, Santo Tirso and Entroncamento.
Presenting itself as the fastest growing low-cost retailer of non-food goods in Europe, Action has thousands of products in its catalogue, ranging from decoration products to kitchen utensils and clothing, as well as some food products.
In Spain, where it has been operating for a year, Action supermarkets are already a favorite among consumers, as the website Qué! who states that this is due to the fact that the stores have thousands of items for less than 2 euros.
This supermarket chain has existed since 1993 and is now in 11 countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Spain and Slovakia.
