The Minister for Health, Frédéric Valletoux, will visit Mayotte on Thursday May 9 and Friday May 10. He will notably go to Koungou and the CHM to take stock of cholera. His visit will also be dedicated to prevention and the question of cooperation between caregivers.
The Minister Delegate in charge of Health, Frédéric Valletoux, will be traveling to Mayotte this Thursday May 9 and Friday May 10. Faced with the many health challenges of the territory, his visit will be devoted Thursday afternoon to the issue of cholera. The minister will go to the commune of Koungou to meet the caregivers who have been mobilized for almost two weeks before discussing with the CHM caregivers. Frédéric Valletoux will also visit the emergency room, maternity ward and the hospital laboratory.
Friday morning will be dedicated to the question of access to care and cooperation between caregivers. The minister will attend the presentation of the first territorial professional health community, a system which allows stakeholders to coordinate and structure themselves, then the signing of the letter of commitment for the CCSud local intercommunal health contract. Finally, the visit will continue at Ouangani with a visit to the new interdisciplinary health center before a trip to an STI screening truck in Mamoudzou. A presentation of the new online sexual health support system is planned.
