On Thursday, you had to pay PLN 7.02 for a liter of standard 95 petrol at the Orlen station at Bennetta Street in Warsaw. A photo of the pylon from this station was sent to us by our reader via the platform dziejesie.wp.pl.

The basic version of diesel fuel cost PLN 6.99 per liter at Bennett, and LPG – PLN 3.09. Orlen’s 98 petrol cost PLN 7.59 per liter, and the better diesel variant – PLN 7.22.

The station at Bennetta is specific because it is located in the immediate vicinity of the largest airport in Poland, at Okęcie in Warsaw. In such a place, higher prices should not be a big surprise. But This is not the only location where in recent days the price of the basic version of gasoline has exceeded the psychological limit of PLN 7 per liter.

Such rates could already be seen at popular gas stations on highways, and one of our readers informed us that two days ago he saw gasoline for over PLN 7 at a station while driving from Warsaw to Płock.

The reduction was only temporary

However, these are still prices that do not come around often. On Wednesday, analysts of the e-petrol.pl portal reported that the average price of 95 gasoline in Poland is PLN 6.65 per liter and is three groszy higher than last week. In Mazovia, where this fuel is the most expensive, the average price is currently PLN 6.75 per liter. Experts pointed out that the reduction in gasoline prices last week turned out to be only temporary.

Analysts noted that However, the average nationwide price of diesel oil has not changed and has remained at PLN 6.69 per liter for a month. As for autogas, its prices at stations have not stopped falling since the end of February, although the scale of changes in this period is small and amounts to only PLN 0.6. Last week, this fuel became cheaper by a penny to PLN 2.84 per liter.

Oil prices depend on the situation in the Middle East
