Weather until mid-March: Warmer than normal, but also lots of rain. Weather forecast for four weeks. The next period brings beautiful weather, with warmer temperatures than we should have at this time of year. But a lot of rain is also forecast.
The National Meteorological Administration has published the estimate of thermal values and precipitation for the next four weeks, between February 19 and March 18, 2024.
According to ANM meteorologists, throughout this period the weather will be warmer than the date on the calendar. Heavier rainfall is forecast in several areas of the country, particularly in the first half of the range.
The weather in Alba county, during the week of February 19 – 25, 2024: The temperatures are increasing from one day to the next, so that the negative ones will not fall below the freezing point even in the mountain areas. However, we will have a rather gloomy week with little sunshine.
We present the weather forecast for four weeks, between February 19 and March 18, 2024.
Week 19 – 26 February 2024
The thermal values will be higher than the specific ones for this week, throughout the territory of Romania.
The pluviometric regime will be locally surplus in the extreme north-west of the country, close to normal in the western regions and generally deficient in the rest of the territory.
Week of February 26 – March 4, 2024
The average air temperature will be higher than normal for this range in all regions.
The amounts of precipitation will be excessive in the western and southern regions, but especially in the submontane area of Oltenia and Muntenia, and in the rest they will be generally close to the normal ones for this period.
Week 4 – 11 March 2024
Average temperatures will be higher than normal for this range across the country.
The rainfall regime will be close to normal for this period in most of the country.
Week 11 – 18 March 2024
Average thermal values will be above the specific ones for this week, throughout Romania.
Precipitation amounts will be close to normal for this range in all regions.
