In mid-April, CD Projekt RED published the initial version of the REDkit tool, which allows you to create the most advanced mods for The Witcher 3. We can already take a look at the first effects of fans’ activities.
The Witcher 3 REDkit was released in the form of playtests on April 16, 2024. The comprehensive modding tool for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently being tested in closed tests and will then be published for all interested parties which is Steam.

The first experiments with REDkit are impressive. During the playtest, among others, a mod from Apokryphos that allows you to ride a griffin. Thanks to the new modification, you can fly on the mighty beast. What is perhaps most impressive – targets on the ground can even be attacked from such a sky “platform”.
You can download a mod that is compatible with the next-gen update download here for free and below you will find a video presenting its operation. You can expect that this is just the beginning of a lot of interesting mods that will appear in connection with the release of REDKit for The Witcher 3.
