The world’s first space hotel will be opened next year, The Sun reports.

Anyone interested can already book a room in the exotic hotel.

The US-based space company Above Space plans to launch two space stations (Voyager Station and Pioneer Station) into space, which will be adapted as hotels.

The first “Pioneer Station” hotel could be opened for tourists. The company mentions that it will be the first space station where commerce, research and recreation will flourish simultaneously. It is predicted that the hotel could be opened as early as next year.

The specific luxury hotel will be able to accommodate a total of 28 people at the same time. It will be the smallest space station – hotel that is planned to open. Already in 2027, everyone will be able to book a unique room in a new space station, which can accommodate around 400 people at the same time.

The two hotels are expected to visually resemble a spinning wheel circling the Earth. However, at the same time, the interior of the single-family house will not differ in any way from an ordinary luxury hotel. Thanks to artificial gravity, the station is equipped with all the “conveniences” that are on Earth, such as a shower, the ability to eat and drink while sitting. However, hotel guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a special option without gravity, in a separate room they will be able to “float” in the air like astronauts.

“Above Space” announced on its website that tourists can already book rooms at the “Pioneer Station” space station. The four- to 18-hour trip to the station will cost at least $55 million.

The ad reads: “Reserve your seat in the world’s first luxury space hotel and enjoy spectacular views of space from your gravity-powered hotel room. Inside Pioneer Station, you’ll experience amenities not available on other space platforms.”
