Indian startup Revolt Motors has unveiled the RV400 BRZ electric motorcycle. This is one of the most affordable electric bikes in the world: it will soon go on sale at a price of 138 to 148 thousand rupees ($1660-1780) – at the level of the new iPhone 15. Its details were revealed on the manufacturer’s website.
The new Revolt RV400 BRZ is a lightweight electric motorcycle that is positioned as an alternative to gasoline 125cc motorcycles and scooters. It has a classic design with plastic fairings.
The electric motorcycle is equipped with a 6.8 hp engine. (5 kW), which makes it possible to develop 85 km/h. The battery with a capacity of 3.24 kWh provides a range of up to 150 km in Eco mode and 80 km in Sport mode. Charging the battery to 100% takes 4.5 hours, and to 75% – 3 hours.
Since the model is budget, the manufacturer tried to save money. The Revolt RV400 BRZ does not have USB ports for recharging gadgets or a keyless start system. However, the electric bike has regenerative braking and a digital instrument panel.
