Tomorrow at around 4:00 p.m. German time, Apple is hosting its “let yourself free” event, at which the US company will probably present several new iPad models.

If Apple follows the usual process, Cupertino will take its online store offline a few hours before the start of the event and with it the current comparison overview of the iPad models on offer.

This is always a bit annoying immediately after the new devices are presented, because as a potentially interested customer you want to compare right now what has changed between the new devices and the old devices that were available until yesterday. Both in technical terms and in terms of price and features.

So that we can all look it up again tomorrow, we have attached a graphic below with the device comparison of the six current models.

Starting prices from 429 to 1449 euros

If you only take their WLAN variants into account, the respective starting prices currently range from 429 euros (for the 9th generation iPad) to 1449 euros for the 12.9-inch 6th generation iPad Pro.

The overview also makes it easy to compare the equipment of the different tablets. Newly packaged, you can currently order both a model with the A13 and a model with the A14 or A15 chip from Apple and also have access to the M1 and M2 processors.

Currently, devices with Touch ID in the home button and top button predominate – when it comes to compatibility with the Apple Pencil and also with Apple’s additional keyboards, all six models dance wildly together.

The memory configurations currently range from 64 gigabytes to 2 terabytes and in terms of weight it ranges from 300 to almost 700 grams.

Whatever tomorrow afternoon brings, the reference to today’s state of affairs should be helpful in classifying the new releases.
