Haven’t paid attention to UBI’s storywriting in the past, let’s say, 4-6 years?
You still need competent storywriters to create appropriate instructions and, above all, to approve whether the result is/can become workable.
Given that things haven’t been going well with writers over the years, and far too many games have clearly become a minimal effort job, this comes across as an attempt at a lazy fix that can never actually fully work.

There is a kind of gold rush or plastic/uranium craze going on around AI, it seems to be seen by all kinds of people as some kind of all-powerful golden egg, while plenty of skeptics rightly note that AI will only be effective (in the positive sense) if it is also receives the correct instructions/training.
If you look at it from the pure race-to-the-bottom approach that UBI seems to have been using for too long, the result is rather self-evident in my opinion unless a miracle happens.

And they will also have to tackle the problem that the content is generative enough, but the common thread cannot be lost due to hallucinations or an accumulation of requests; Continuity is super difficult to guarantee, and we know that when we look at other (existing) AI implementations that work with languages at all and therefore naturally LLMs, it is (as far as we know now) completely inherent otherwise it will be too repetitive/will lack creativity.
