the relocation resulted in a nearly three-quarters of an hour delay and a substantially reduced spectator capacity, with approximately 500 fans able to attend at Mimi Renno compared to the original venue’s capacity of 1,000. However, one resourceful resident enjoyed a unique viewing experience.
“being a neighbor of the Mimi Renno gym, I watched the match from my window last night,” a local resident shared with La Chronique Républicaine, even providing a photograph of the unusual setup.
The situation evoked memories of past issues at the Paron and Dorangerie gyms, where games were occasionally moved due to slippery floors around thirty years ago.
