## Oleksandr Usyk to Trade Boxing Gloves for Soccer Boots in charity Match
Undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is set to step onto a different kind of arena: the football pitch. He will participate in a charity football match in Lisbon, Portugal, on September 15th, showcasing his athleticism beyond the boxing ring.
The “Legends Charity Game,” hosted at Estádio José Alvalade, promises a star-studded lineup of former Premier League greats. “Usyk has not been prescribed bed rest,” explained Sergey Lapin, CEO of Usyk’s team. “He is allowed to take part in charity sporting events and engage in moderate physical activity.”
Though, Lapin emphasized the difference between light activity and the rigorous demands of a training camp. He clarified that charity events are not equivalent to preparing for a world title fight.

Currently, Usyk must face either Parker or Fabio Wardley, who are scheduled to fight in London on October 25th. Alternatively,he could choose to vacate his WBO title.
Medical evidence was submitted to the WBO detailing Usyk’s need for recovery time. this led to the granting of the extension earlier this week, allowing him to carefully consider his options.
