UK – TikTok’s social media outcry with rumors claiming that Prince William has converted to Islam has attracted attention.

Although the truth of the rumors about Prince William converting to Islam remains unproven, a video showing Prince William saying the Muslim greeting, “Assalamu Alaikum,” has circulated.

Buckingham Palace has not provided an official response to rumors of Prince William converting to Islam.

The video is entitled “Prince William is claimed to be a Muslim” published on the TikTok account british_daily shows the moment of Prince William’s visit to the Muslim Community Center in London, England, in March 2023. The 1 minute 10 second video has gone viral with more than 2.6 million views and more than 6300 comments.

The narration in the video suggests that Prince William has converted to Islam, and this rumor has spread in the British press and social media platforms.
