These closures are part of a $70.2 million multimodal pavement improvement ⁤project designed to enhance safety and extend the lifespan⁤ of the roadway.

Project Details and⁤ Scope

the project, overseen ⁤by Caltrans, encompasses ‍a notable stretch of State Route 2, from Centinela Avenue in Santa monica to its terminus in Echo Park. It is divided into three segments:

• segment A: Santa Monica Boulevard between Centinela Avenue and Interstate 405 in West Los Angeles.
• Segment B: Santa Monica Boulevard between La Brea Avenue and U.S. 101 in Hollywood.
