Health Concerns and Detention
Cabral’s detention occurred on January 7th while he was working on a landscaping job. Neighbors report that he informed ICE agents of recent injuries, including fractures to his lower leg and tailbone, and an open wound on his leg, requesting they handle him with care. Adding to the urgency,Cabral suffers from pre-existing health conditions,including heart disease and diabetes,requiring daily medication,including a blood thinner to prevent stroke.
