MALANGRAYA.CO – To make it easier for users to communicate, WhatsApp now presents the Chat Filter feature. This feature allows users to search for messages more easily and faster.
“As you can do more and more things on WhatsApp, it becomes more important for you to be able to find messages quickly. “That’s why today we’re launching a new Chat Filter so you can find messages without having to scroll through your entire inbox,” wrote the chat platform made by Meta.
The Chat Filter will filter the messages you are looking for, in contrast to the Search feature which displays all the keywords in the application. Users can choose between three filters that will appear at the top of the chat list, namely All, Unread and Groups in just one tap.
The All filter is the default view of all messages, while the Unread filter is an option for users when they want to see conversations that need attention or response. This option displays messages marked as unread or unopened, so you can prioritize your responses.
Finally, Groups is a much-requested feature, now all your group chats will be managed in one place, making it easier for you to find your favorite chats, whether it’s the weekly family dinner discussion or plans for the next holiday. This feature will also display Community sub-groups.
“We believe that filters will make it easier for people to stay organized and find the most important conversations, while helping them navigate messages more efficiently,” continued WhatsApp.
“We’ll continue to develop more options to help you focus on what matters most. These features are starting to roll out to users today, and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks,” concluded the platform.***
